EQUITY in the Classroom: Unpacking Identity and Socialization 

For participants with a beginning to intermediate understanding of the concepts of equity, social identity and anti-oppression. Learn new skills and tools regarding inclusive communication and addressing oppression in your classrooms, teams and organizations.

 

E-LEARNING for Administrators

A half-day workshop for school administrators. Learn how to navigate the new requirements, avoid potential pitfalls and draft a high-quality, inclusive E-Learning Plan. We’ll address how to involve stakeholders, work around the challenges of students without devices or internet connection, verify attendance, meet IEP and 504 requirements and more.

 

EQUITABLE and Inclusive Practices for Talent Identification & Development

We’ll focus on evidence-based practices that identify and nurture the abilities of advanced learners in equitable and inclusive ways, including:

  • Talent development as a framework for gifted education service
  • Identification practices that help recognize a diverse pool 
  • of students with advanced learning needs
  • Program models that allow students to demonstrate and meet their potential
  • District-wide approaches to gifted programming
