North Cook Intermediate Service Center partners with Comprehensive Security Consulting, LLC to provide services that help districts reduce risks and protect students, staff and visitors in and around their buildings. Services include:
Physical Security Assessments
- Review past incidents and threat assessments
- Identify existing policy and procedures
- Consider the surrounding community
- Plan a detailed walkthrough
- Identify existing resources
- Report on findings
- Staff training: Instructional lecture on what to do if a hostile threat is in the vicinity (Run, Hide, Fight)
- Review of Emergency Operation Plan
Tabletop Scenario Facilitation
This training walks staff through scenarios they could face in their environment. It can help fortify your district's emergency protocols, crisis plan and personnel by putting them to the test.
Active Assailant Training
Instruction and training on steps to take before, during, and after a threat.
Security Team Integration and Assessment
Learn how to build and staff, educate and prepare your district's security teams to work effectively internally and with outside stakeholders, including local law enforcement.
Stop the Bleed
Training from registered Stop the Bleed instructions on how to stop life-threatening bleeding.
