FINAL Mandated Trainings for 2025-2026 (staff): Changes or new requirements are highlighted in yellow. ISBE stated that it is their position that the intent of the law is to put everyone on the same time frame starting with the 2025-2026 school year. "Staff would be required to complete the training within six months of their first contractual workday. After that, it switches to every five years (or other frequencies depending on the training). With that said, districts should work with their own legal counsel to determine if they are in compliance."
