Communications Services

Clear, consistent, strategic communications is a key to building public trust in your school district, and broad support for public education as a whole. That solid foundation of trust and support has a direct impact on student success.

That is why NCISC launched a communications services practice to support districts in the region in their communications needs, large and small. NCISC offers custom support in areas including:

  • Referendum Information Campaigns
  • Strategic Planning Facilitation
  • Community Engagement & Surveys
  • Leadership Communication Training
  • Branding/Rebranding
  • Crisis Communications
  • And so much more

Communications Coordinator Mer Fenton, leads the NCISC communications department. Mer can provide direct custom support, and is always available to be a thought partner in elevating the voice of your district.

How We Can Help You

Join the Communications Collaborative!

The NCISC Communications Collaborative brings districts together to build support of public education in our region. Whether you are a school communicator by title, or it is one of your "other duties as assigned" -- or if you want to improve your communications with your colleagues and constituents -- this new series is for you!  Each session will have time for sharing ideas and networking; some will have relevant presentations with takeaways you can put into practice in your district immediately.

All Communications Collaborative meetings are in person at NCISC, 1001 E. Touhy Ave, Suite 200, Des Plaines.
