We support situational masking (i.e., masks are recommended but not required) when group size exceeds 14 people and whenever 6' of distance cannot be consistently maintained between people in offices and conference rooms, regardless of vaccination status.

"Thank you so much for the wonderful session! That was the best Admin Academy I have ever taken, and I am so very grateful! Many thanks! I cannot wait to try some of these items at my next meeting!"
~ Dr. Lisa Carlos, Principal at Plainfield Elementary School, CCSD62 – Des Plaines

"At a time where all educators are facing uncertainty in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, AA3640 "Compassion Fatigue & Burnout: Are You or Your Staff at Risk?" could not be a more timely theme for professional learning. Administrators and school personnel alike have been so focused on the care of their students and families that we often neglect our own self-care, therefore putting ourselves at risk for burnout. This academy affords the opportunity to talk with other administrators about recognizing the signs of compassion fatigue in a personal way and offers suggestions on how to maintain one's own self-care. It also serves as a model for possible activities to do with staff members in order to help promote their self-care. This academy was well worth the time spent with other administrators in talking about how to take care of our staff members as well as ourselves."
