North Cook Better Together PK-8 Job Fair

This job fair will bring together more than 30 elementary school districts and special education cooperatives in a unified effort to recruit exceptional educators and support staff to the North Cook region. Candidates will have the chance to connect directly with hiring leaders and explore career opportunities in highly regarded PK-8 school districts. Some districts will be conducting screening interviews on site!

Positions available include:

• Certified roles: Classroom teachers, school psychologists, special education teachers, bilingual/EL teachers and more
• Support staff roles: Teacher aides/paraprofessionals, registered nurses, office staff, student advocates, and more

Additionally, Licensure Specialists from NCISC will be available to assist candidates with credentialing, endorsements, and licensure requirements. Educators of all levels and roles are invited to attend the Better Together PK-8 Job Fair.

The event is co-hosted by North Cook Intermediate Service Center (NCISC) and IASA-North Cook Region.

A few tips for candidates: 

• Check in when you arrive to receive a map of the districts and scan the QR code to have this website with job listings handy
• Bring plenty of copies of your resume
• Some districts will conduct screening interview on site, so be prepared to share your experiences and ideas 
• Donuts, coffee and water will be available
