Several cases of a recently reported multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children (MIS-C) associated with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) have been reported. This document provides background, a definition, symptoms and recommendations.

IDPH: Community Based Testing Site Guidance
This press release from IDPH provides guidance regarding who should and can receive COVID testing, symptoms of COVID, and recommendations for those with symptoms and/or testing positive.

04/16/2020:
IDPH: Health Alert Regarding Imported KN95 Masks
This alert recommends discontinuing the use of some imported KN95 respirators unless their authenticity and performance can be verified through "fit testing." Here is a link to OSHA's webpage and video regarding fit testing.
