School District Leadership that Works: Striking the Right Balance (ISBE #579) In this day and age, every aspect of a school district must be seen as a valued and contributing resource of the organization. In the past, critics have asserted that American public education is burdened by a bloated, local, organizational bureaucracy that soaks up resources outside of the classroom and does not contribute to student learning. This course will emphasize the value-added by district and school level administrators and the benefits they bring to student achievement in their learning organizations. | Start Date: | | 3/17/2010  8:30am | | Program: | | Tim Waters, McREL’s CEO and co-author, with Bob Marzano, of School Leadership That Works: From Research to Results (2005), and District Leadership that Works: Striking the Right Balance (2009), will share findings from Mc REL’s research.
