Success in the Global Economy through Leadership for Whole-Brain Learning (ISBE #798)

This Academy will look at the trends that are changing America’s role in a global economy, the Six Senses for Right Brain Thinking. Participants will explore new learning on how to lead schools in integrating those senses with left brain application and bring the whold mind to bear on both “just in time” and “lifelong learning.”

Program:		Drawing on Daniel Pink’s book, A Whole New Mind, participants will learn tools and strategies for the application of knowledge, creativity and innovation to the needs of America in a global economy. Strategies you learn will assist you in supporting teachers in teaching core academics for at-risk students, bright but disenaged students who tend to drop out of school and students who must be prepared to deal with life by operating from both sides of the brain.
