Program:This course will help prepare administrators to provide a successful learning environment for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Discussion topics will include characteristics of the Autism Spectrum, criteria, learning style and sensory needs, general school procedures and the ASD student, team collaboration, building rules and discipline guidelines, accommodations and flexibility, special events, prepping schedule changes, extra curricular activities, resources, stafff support and training materials.
