PENCELLs 2006-2007 Professional Development Program

PENCELLs is an informal organization of area educators and service providers committed to increasing the academic achievement and addressing the social, cultural and social needs of students who are English language learners, whether they are newly arrived to the United States or they are born here. PENCELLs serves as a forum for sharing and networking among educators and service providers of this population and provides opportunities for professional development through workshops and roundtable sessions with well-known speakers and/ or practitioners from the field. All educators and service providers to ELL students and their families are welcome and encouraged to participate in the professional development programs and roundtable discussion groups sponsored by PENCELLs.

Times:		All programs begin at 1:00 p.m.
Fee:		$10.00 per session
Location:		North Cook Intermediate Service Center 2340 Des Plaines River Road, Suite 201 Des Plaines, IL 60018 All sessions will be held in the Conference Center on the second floor.
