New Foundational Services

With a grant from the Illinois State Board of Education, staff from North Cook Intermediate Service Center offers all North Cook school districts FREE professional development workshops, facilitated networking meetings, and remote technical assistance in the areas of:

  • Continuous Improvement and Rising Star
  • Implementation of the new Illinois Learning Standards in English Language Arts (ELA)
  • Implementation of the new Illinois Learning Standards in Math
  • Assessment: PARCC, Student Learning Objective, etc.
  • Teacher Evaluation

Workshops and Networking Meetings are free; however, REGISTRATION is REQUIRED.
We encourage districts to send educational leaders (principals & district office administrators) as well as teachers to Foundational Service events.
Participants should bring a laptop or tablet to all workshops.
